ICON's salon styling was inspired by J-pop stars.
The logo, ICON, was created with the lines that connected to each character, represent the connection between the brand/hairstylist and the consumers. Lines art are inspired by Japan infographic style. By softening the character, the rounded edge was used to shows friendliness which reflects Japan culture. The connected C & O formed the shape of scissors handle - As said, a good scissor is the key for a nice haircut.
